"iRig HD is great for touring. I just bring my laptop, guitar, headphones,
and iRig into my hotel room and crank out killer sounding demos..."
Nick Hexum is the vocalist and guitarist for the American rock band 311, who have been headlining amphitheaters in the US for the past 11 consecutive summers.
311 has sold over 9 million albums/dvd's in the US. They have had 7 albums in the Top 10 on Billboard's US Top 200 Sales Chart. They have had 9 singles in the Top 10 on Billboard's US Alternative Chart (including three #1 singles).
Nick Hexum is a friend and fan of IK Multimedia and recently took his iRig HD out on the road with him:
"iRig HD is great for touring. I just bring my laptop, guitar, headphones, and iRig into my hotel room and crank out killer sounding demos. I believe that in songwriting, quantity begets quality so to be able to make demos every day on tour is huge. I really like some patches on AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix and sometimes those parts that I cut on the road make it through to the final album."
Nick Hexum has also just announced his latest side project The Nick Hexum Quintet
