Tap's editor, Chris Phin, told us: "We unearth gems from the vast heaps of rubbish on the App Store every issue, apps such as AmpliTube absolutely set the standard, and epitomise everything that's wonderful about iOS. We know how much talent, hard work and passion go into making an app good enough to be named as one of our 100 best. Congratulations. And we can't wait to see what you do next!"
Tap! Magazine - the publication dedicated to covering the very best products for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has released a special edition to highlight the 100 Greatest Apps of all time and, of course, AmpliTube is guaranteed an award alongside Google Earth and IMDB!
We spoke to Tap's editor Chris Phin who told us:
"Tap!'s mission is to make it easy for the millions of iOS users to find the best apps and games for their devices, and while we unearth gems from the vast heaps of rubbish on the App Store every issue, apps such as AmpliTube absolutely set the standard, and epitomise everything that's wonderful about iOS."
He then continued:
"Thanks for all your hard work on it. We know, and not just because we've just gone through the process ourselves with our app edition, how much talent, hard work and passion go into making an app good enough to be named as one of our 100 best. Congratulations. And we can't wait to see what you do next!"
Thank you Chris, this is high praise indeed from one of the leading experts in the field!
In the magazine special edition it says about AmpliTube for iPhone/iPad:
"Our favourite feature is the ability to import songs from the iPod app and play along with them."
"Plug in your guitar and let those riffs rip!
"Guitarists will be playing with it for hours on end!"
Tap! magazine is available in the UK as a printed magazine and worldwide as a new app which you can subscribe to through iTunes.
