"When I heard the first vibrations of my favourite tracks that I use for soundchecking [through iLoud Micro Monitor], the sound simply made my jaw drop! Incredible what these small boxes are capable of. Not because of the volume but the wide and balanced frequency spectrum."
Reviewing iLoud Micro Monitor for bonedo.de, expert Patric Louis was notably impressed with both their compact size and exceptional sound quality.
Here are some of his key comments:
"When I heard the first vibrations of my favourite tracks that I use for soundchecking [through iLoud Micro Monitor], the sound simply made my jaw drop! Incredible what these small boxes are capable of. Not because of the volume but the wide and balanced frequency spectrum."
"iLoud Micro Monitors, the active 2-way speakers from IK Multimedia, are tiny little wonder boxes.
For the price of around 300 Euros, you get very compact and extremely good sounding speakers that you can always find space for on any desk even in the smallest environments. Should you not have anything convenient to place them on, just use the threads underneath to attach the speakers onto a microphone stand. The fact that you don't just get RCA phono and mini jack inputs but also a Bluetooth connection means that these speakers are additionally very well suited for pure music consumption from a mobile phone or tablet. iLoud Micro Monitor is the undisputed champion in its class."
Pro
- extremely small speakers
- first-class sound with astonishingly clear bass down to almost 50 Hertz
- analog inputs and Bluetooth connection, even simultaneously
Against
nothing
Here are some quotes from the original review in German.
Unglaublich was aus diesen kleinen Kästchen rauskommt.
Contra
Nichts
