"The ultimate killer feature is the additional USB charge port which keeps your iPhone/iPod touch or iPad permanently charged while you're using the iRig MIDI. Yes, it's the small USB port that makes all the difference as it is only thanks to this that it is really possible to start working with your iPad and MIDI hardware in the first place."
Amazona.de's Markus Schröder has taken a thorough look at IK's iRig MIDI and has lots of nice comments to make. Read some of the highlights of his review here.

"The ultimate killer feature is the additional USB charge port which can be utilized for keeping your iPhone/iPod touch or iPad permanently charged while you're using the iRig MIDI."
"Also the other features of the iRig MIDI are very convincing. For a device of this price category, the plastic body feels good quality."
"As far the app compatibility is concerned, I have absolutely no complaints. All the CoreMIDI apps we tested worked great with the iRig MIDI."
"iRig MIDI is a first class CoreMIDI compatible MIDI-DIN interface for iOS which doesn't just fully win you over thanks to its excellent performance in real life, but also shows that IK has really thought this through. Here are some quotes from the original review in German:
