PC Advisor has given iRig BlueBoard a full checkout and are impressed with its responsiveness and control possibilities.
Here are some of the comments from expert reviewer James Lumgair:
"Guitarists are familiar with controlling their sound using various foot pedals so it makes sense that you could control your iPad music apps using a foot pedal."
"It's lightweight and a sensible size (23cm wide) to carry around with your equipment or laptop bag and at 250g it is certainly a lot lighter than a typical pedal board."
"Once you start using it, you'll no doubt think of many more uses which are suited exactly to what you want to achieve."
"The good news is that you're not limited to four pedals as you can completely customise the BlueBoard to suit your needs."
James's final verdict is:
"The iRig BlueBoard pedal board works well with various music apps and it's responsive. It is a great companion iRig's products you may have. If you like digital effects, then the BlueBoard is perfect for amateur bands gigging in pubs and clubs. It opens up a lot of possibilities to how you control your digital guitar rig and ultimately what sounds you can create."
