We gave TV composer/PSN reviewer Rich Tozzoli a pair of our iLoud MTM monitors to the test on a "Producer's Retreat" while in the Virgin Islands.
After using the iLoud Micro Monitors last year with great success, he agreed to use the iLoud MTMs for this year’s retreat, where they spent a week recording hard sports rock music for television shows. He loved them and posted an initial review on the Pro Sound News website (who sponsored the retreat). In this round-up, Rich goes further into the features, talking about his greatly positive experience with the iLoud MTM studio monitors. Here are some excerpts from the review below:
"These speakers not only put out a lot of volume, but they put it out across the spectrum with amazing clarity."
"Since the guys had never heard them before, they were blown away when I started playing a pulsing, bass-heavy synth part."
"The strong spot to me is the way they handle bass, and the port on the back makes it truly sound like there is a subwoofer attached."
Without hesitation, I can highly recommend these for not just a mobile rig, but virtually anybody’s home studio.
