“Buy the iRig Mic HD and you’ve pretty much turned your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a 24-bit mobile recording studio. Available in black or a special silver edition you can only purchase through Apple, it looks and feels like microphones you’ve been using all your life…it’s already become the one I go to in the field.. Armed with the iRig Mic HD and an iPhone 6, my trade show floor interview kit is pretty much covered."
Here are some quotes from Kirk Hiner's review of IK's iRig Mic HD from the AppleTell website:
“iRig Mic HD for iPhone, iPad is a natural choice.”

“Now, understand that you can connect the iRig Mic HD to your Mac or PC, too; it comes with both a Lightning cable and a USB cable (it’s even compatible with older 30-pin iDevices if you order the cable for it). But it’s aimed at mobile device users, and that’s where it shines. Simply plug the iRic Mic HD into your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, launch any of the myriad compatible recording apps and you’re all set.”
