It's that time of the year. IMSTA FESTA Online (Atlanta) is here and it's happening with a huge celebration of music software. That's right. This year, more than ever, music software is bringing people together like never before and helping us all keep our creative spirits... well, creating.
It will be a great, fully online event, with many products, both new and recent, coming from major software developers, like IK Multimedia!
We will be contributing three videos: two focusing on a specific new IK software, and a feature film that goes straight to the heart of what matters to musicians: how we create music.
IK Multimedia recently launched MixBox, a 500-series style "lunchbox" processor chain for engineers and producers. With 70 effect modules and tons of presets, MixBox is gaining serious fans behind the studio console thanks to its fast workflow and great sound.
So it is only natural that IK presents at IMSTA FESTA an in-depth 30-minute video about MixBox with a seasoned producer named Bobby Balow from Raytown Productions.
AmpliTube 5 is coming soon, packed with new features and technology. We are at the point where virtual gear looks and sounds so much like real gear that we could take it for granted.
To help us fully appreciate this new super studio for guitar and bass sound creation, melodic guitarist Neil Zaza will take us through the many new features and sounds available in AmpliTube 5, during another in-depth 30-minute video that IK is presenting at IMSTA FESTA this year.
Finally, IK is presenting a 60-minute video feature with Andy Moor on "How software technology has changed the way we create". Andy is an English DJ, trance producer and remixer who masters music technology to push the boundaries of creativity.
Andy's perspective is essential to understanding how musicians can stay creative, fresh and relevant in this modern era. This video is a must-see at IMSTA FESTA. Spoiler alert: he might mention some IK Multimedia products!
