AmpliTube 5 is barely out and the awards are already pouring in. Users are praising the improved overall sound quality and in particular the new cabinet section. Capturing all those IR positions was a massive job for our development team, but it was worth it. And the fact that during the process, we re-recorded all the amps with a high-end signal chain in a great-sounding studio, adds to an even more musical experience.

About the new Cabinet section
"Once I dove into the VIR Tech window within the cabinet section, a whole new level of flexibility and cabinet sounds opened up. And sweeping through the frequency field didn't sound phasey or unnatural... Very quickly, I was able to get the exact sounds I wanted and the speakers do a great job of capturing the resonance/thickness and low-end growl I expect from a real mic'd-up cabinet."
About the sound
