How do I calibrate my iLoud MTM for my recording space?

To get started with the iLoud MTM calibration process following, please do the following:

  1. Make sure that the iLoud MTM Speakers are aligned correctly. The “Sweet Spot” listening position should be in the middle of an imaginary equilateral triangle. This means that your listening point (sweet point) will be located at the top of an equilateral triangle and the two loudspeakers should be placed at the other two points of this triangle.
Use the user manual for some extra information on finding the "Sweet Spot". Start on Page 13.
  2. Once this is done, place the included ARC System 2.5 MEMS Microphone in the center of the triangle. Make sure you position the height to ear level. The ARC System 2.5 MEMS Microphone should be facing forward when doing this process.
  3. Once everything is connected, press and hold the CAL button on the back of the iLoud MTM for approximately 2-3 seconds, you are then given a few seconds to back away, and allow the calibration process to complete.
  4. Once the calibration is done, if the calibration was successful, the white blinking LED light will then turn GREEN. If the calibration process was not successful, the white blinking LED light will then turn RED. If the calibration process was not successful, try again and ensure that the connections are properly secured.
  5. Repeat this process for your second iLoud MTM Monitor by simply removing the 1/8” TS end of the cable and inserting it to the next iLoud MTM Monitor, keeping the same position for your ARC System 2.5 MEMS microphone and speakers.
