How do I use TONEX ONE as an audio interface?
TONEX ONE is compatible with both Mac and Windows* as an audio interface. In addition, you can use the TONEX ONE as a class compliant device for practice, warming up, etc. by connecting your headphones directly to the output.
To get started using TONEX as an audio interface launch your DAW or TONEX software and select the TONEX ONE as your audio interface in the Audio Setup window. This appears when you launch TONEX and can be accessed at any time using the menu found in the upper right-hand corner.
If you're using the TONEX software, after you've selected as your audio device you can use the Home tab to set your tone, and then use the Librarian to drag and drop your Tone Models or Presets to your hardware.
Depending on your preference, you can use the TONEX ONE device's internal DSP and save your system some resources, or you can use Stomp Mode to disable this and use only your in-the-box FX. When recording this way, make sure to keep in mind the TONEX ONE offers Direct Monitoring.
