How do I completely uninstall and re-install IK Product Manager?

On Windows, follow the steps below to perform a fresh installation of IK Product Manager.

  1. Head to your Control Panel by clicking the Windows logo (Start menu) on your screen or keyboard.
  2. Run the uninstaller for IK Product Manager from this location.
  3. Next, check for any files named "IK Product Manager" inside your Documents > IK Multimedia folder. If found delete this folder.
  4. Warning: The next step deals with the Registry Editor. Do not alter any files outside of the files below. If you are unsure of what to do, contact our support team directly here.
  5. Click the Windows logo (Start menu) on your screen or keyboard, type "RegEdit" and open the application Registry Editor.
  6. Go to the location "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IK Multimedia" in the browser and delete the Product Manager folder.
  7. Now, go to the location "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IK Multimedia" and delete the Product Manager folder.
  8. Restart your machine.
  9. Download the latest IK Product Manager and install the latest version.

On macOS, follow the steps below to perform a fresh installation of IK Product Manager.

  1. Download the latest IK Product Manager and open the .DMG file.
  2. Run the uninstaller for IK Product Manager from this location.
  3. Next, check for any files named "IK Product Manager" inside your Documents > IK Multimedia folder. If found delete this folder.
  4. Go to your Library > Application Support > IK Multimedia folder and remove any "IK Product Manager" folder found.
  5. Open a Finder window, use the "Go" drop down to find the User Library by holding the alt/option key, and repeat step 4 in this location.
  6. Go to your Library > Preferences folder and remove any files titled "com.ikmultimedia.IK Product Manager" found.
  7. Open a Finder window, use the "Go" drop down to find the User Library by holding the alt/option key, and repeat step 6 in this location.
  8. Restart your machine.
  9. Open your .DMG file from step 1 and install the latest version of IK Product Manager.
