I am not seeing the iRig Stomp I/O available as an audio interface?

If you are not seeing the iRig Stomp I/O available as an audio interface in your AmpliTube software or other audio software, the unit may be set to standalone mode functionality. This is when the iRig Stomp I/O acts solely as a MIDI controller and all audio interface functions are disabled. This is indicated by the top two LEDs on your GAIN and VOLUME meters. These will be powered on at all times when using standalone mode. These will be powered off, unless triggered by audio, when you are not utilizing standalone mode.

Follow these steps below to enter or exit standalone mode:

  1. Shut down AmpliTube, or any audio software you are using.
  2. Disconnect the USB, iRig PSU3A, or Mini-DIN cable from your iRig Stomp I/O (For Mac/PC users, leave other end of the USB cable connected to your system) to power off the unit.
  3. Press and hold Switch 1 while reconnecting any of your cables to power the your iRig Stomp I/O back on.
  4. Once you let go of Switch 1, the 4 LEDs will flash twice to indicate the mode change.
  5. If you were inside of standalone mode prior to these steps, your top two LEDs on the GAIN and VOLUME meters will remain off, to indicate you are no longer in standalone mode. If you were outside of standalone mode before following these steps, your top two LEDs on the GAIN and VOLUME meters will remain on.
