How do I pick a subwoofer for iLoud MTM?

As an iLoud MTM can reach an SPL level of 96 dB, an appropriate subwoofer should deliver an SPL of at least 100 dB.  Any subwoofers reaching 105 dB have the perfect range to complement the iLoud MTMs.

If you do not wish to use an external crossover, the subwoofer should match the iLoud MTM's new cutoff option (80 Hz LFE), introduced with firmware version 1.2.0.

Below are some example subwoofers which will work great:

  • Genelec 7050C
  • Adam T10S
  • Neumann KH 750 (10-inch)
  • Focal 11 Sub6 (11-inch)
