Why does my dry signal playback when using TONEX ONE with my Mac/PC?

The TONEX ONE pedal offers an option called Direct Monitoring* which can be accessed from the Librarian tab of the TONEX software when your device is connected to a Mac/PC system. This setting will be in the Global Set-up accessed with the settings icon to the right of the gear icon symbol (used for Library Import/Export and Recovery).

This will send the signal from your TONEX ONE input directly to the output of the pedal giving you a latency free experience while using the device with Mac/PC. This is great for using the TONEX pedal to play along with your favorite apps, but might not be ideal when using the TONEX ONE for recording in your favorite DAW.

Please keep in mind, if you are recording with TONEX ONE, you will have the ability of using the internal DSP in place of the dry/D.I signals. This is great for those moving quickly, or those who want to save some processing power. If you want to just hear the clean guitar signal, make sure to enter stomp mode** and disable the TONEX ONE internal DSP by bypassing the pedal.

*For further explanation of this function, use the "i" button to the right of the Direct Monitor option inside your TONEX ONE Global Set-up. Click here for more information on controlling your TONEX ONE levels.

**To enter stomp mode, you select the Tone Model via the TONEX Librarian, or from the hardware, hold the ALT button on the TONEX ONE for 6 seconds to enter the Global Setup. From here, the Bass knob will control this function and go red with stomp mode or green with dual mode use.
