In this video, the YouTube channel "Free Plugin Friday" showcases some of the amazing modules included in the FREE MixBox CS, running them through his wave analyzer to determine exactly how they perform.
Seeing in real time how MixBox shapes the sound graphically will give you some valuable insight into how much you can do with the plug-in. Also, the video shows how little CPU usage is required by MixBox to get even big jobs done. Watch and learn.
The flexibility of the wet/dry system and being able to change the way that each of these modules are balanced with each other is so far delivering what I want and getting me to a result that I like very quickly.
Wow! When you bypass that, everything just goes to crap. This Channel Strip is here to play!
I like it. That's gluey. It just makes everything full.
So right now we've got 40 instances of this, only using 14 and a half percent of the available CPU and only reporting 120 samples of latency. That's actually really sensible.
That sounds ridiculously good, especially when you use the dry and wet fader on the individual rack unit. This seems like a no-brainer. That compressor alone is definitely worth it.
