IK releases Firmware 1.3.0 for iLoud Precision studio monitors along with a new version of X-MONITOR control software. Together they offer exciting advances in room correction, even in the most difficult spaces, plus workflow enhancements for switching between user presets and speaker emulations.

iLoud Precision Firmware 1.3.0
The room correction is now even more "invisible," providing a perfectly neutral overall in-room loudspeaker response with new room measurement and correction algorithms delivering transparency and neutrality under all conditions where room correction is necessary.
The new algorithms also offer greater sonic performance in rooms with severe L/R asymmetries in their low-frequency response. This leads to an enhanced tightness and center image on the whole audio spectrum.
X-MONITOR 1.0.2
The virtual Mini Remote window now stays on top of other windows, ideal when performing room calibration or when switching between speaker emulations within a DAW. This means you'll always have instant access to your favorite settings to A/B mixes and/or move the listening position.
Also improved is the status consistency between the hardware remote control, speakers and software for all functions, letting you work offline and sync seamlessly whenever you relaunch X-MONITOR.

How to update the speakers:
- Download and install X-MONITOR 1.0.2 from the IK Product Manager (under Hardware/Precision model/Software) or from the IK User Area.
- With one iLoud Precision connected at a time to your Mac or PC, launch X-MONITOR 1.0.2 and select the Left or Right Speaker dropdown, which will prompt you to update that monitor.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to update the firmware on each monitor.
