AmpliTube 5 gets some new gear

The free update adds 4 synth filters and more

May 5, 2021 – AmpliTube 5 has been updated to version 5.0.3 for Mac/PC.

This new version unlocks a complimentary high-gain amp module, the SLD 100 amp, and a 4x12 Metal T cabinet for all users, including the free AmpliTube 5 CS.

In addition, there are 4 new synth filters for AmpliTube 5 and AmpliTube 5 MAX users, which we ported over from IK's Syntronik:

  • Filter O: A model of the iconic Oberheim® state variable filter (found in the Oberheim SEM)
  • Filter R: A model of the famous Roland® IR3109 filter chip (found in the Juno-60 and Jupiter-8)
  • Filter M: A model of the legendary Moog® transistor ladder filter (found in the Minimoog and Modular Moog)
  • Filter C: A model of the famous Curtis® CEM3320 filter chip (found in the Prophet-5 and Oberheim OB-Xa synthesizers)

Synth filters are an incredibly powerful way to sculpt your guitar or bass tone. We're pleased to be offering these new sound-shaping tools!

Version 5.0.3 also optimizes various functions and features as well as includes different fixes for issues some users might have experienced. We recommend all AmpliTube 5 users update for the best experience.
