Building on its 43 year history, the UK's premier outdoor music and arts festival, Glastonbury, continues to grow in size and popularity. With the Rolling Stones as THE major attraction for 2013, the media interest has reached stratospheric proportions. Every major broadcaster, newspaper and publication had a presence at this year's show.

Wanting to ensure that their readership received the hottest news for each day of the show, The Telegraph contacted our UK office to provide the most reliable, easy to use and rugged solution for mobile recording on an iPhone. To record in a festival environment, the gear has to be able to be quickly set up, resistant to everything the elements could throw at it and, most importantly, be able to allow the voice of the commentator to come through clearly despite massive background noise from thundering bands, applause and chatter from the audience and, if necessary, howling gales!

iRig MIC and iRig PRE were ideal solutions for this and we were delighted to provide The Telegraph's video editor Chris Stone, plus on-the-spot video-blogger Neil McCormick at short notice with the tools they needed to do the job properly.
