How do I use a custom sound content path inside Pianoverse?

Inside the Pianoverse application's Settings menu, the Sound Content tab can be used to select a custom path.

If you have not yet installed your sounds, you can select this path before doing so and the IK Product Manager will install your sounds to this newly selected path.

*This will not change the folder for your download files. This must be changed in the IK Product Manager app's Settings menu.

If you have already installed your sounds to the Default location, you can move the installed sounds to your preferred location. After doing so, you must set this location inside the Pianoverse app's Settings.

It is important to note that your sounds should be kept inside a top folder which contains the following four sub-folders.

  • Instruments**
  • Samples*
  • Library Info
  • Library Resources

*This folder will contain a sub-folder named Pianoverse and inside of this, a sub-folder for each piano (for example Gran Concert 278), which contain the rest of your content.

**This folder will contain a sub-folder for each piano (for example Gran Concert 278), inside of which will be the rest of the content.

If you are selecting a new drive, make sure to check the Pianoverse app's Settings menu for the Streaming tab. Adjust these settings to best match the drive where your sounds are now stored.
